found treasures...

with an impending move i've got to be motivated to pack a little every day after work. which really means go through my crap, be strong and say goodbye.
even though it's time consuming to go through things, 1) it's fun to see what's been hidden since the last move and 2) it saves me from moving it yet again.
a few things i've "discovered" so far... two decks of lotera cards and their bingo like larger cards for marking. four different colored filters for my nikon slr, red 25, orange 21, yellow 2 and sepia 2. a plethera of postcard books. small packets of stationary and the "just a gesture for those that don't deserve the effort" greeting cards. which are quite hilarious. you circle which occasion the receiver is celebrating for instance, a birthday. underneath the type of celebration are a bunch of numbers. it is up to the recipient to connect all the number and viola! they've created a connect-the-dot image. wow, been missing that!

continuing on with items i'm happy to have found again are what i will be sharing in the images below... the most special? important? is how i started sewing on paper to begin with. the polaroid transfer (and photo) quilt. then i've got some cards that came from the quilt, cards that are just polaroid transfers or cards with just random images on them...
they've been found! WOW who knew i actually had sewn cards in house... ha ha.
oh geez, those are lovely. i loved the shapes i found in the transfers that didn't work. ahhh finally abstractions with photo images!

obviously these cards are not from the transfer photo quilt or necessarily the same time. i really like the t-shirt.
