my high life is heading for the mountains..

i left my high life on the counter for an hour...it's summertime, is that anyway to treat a cold refreshing beverage? i think not.  

so far our move was successful. there are only a hand full (or car load's worth) of treasures left at our old place. i can't wait to be done with it. 

today, i was able to leave work in the middle of the afternoon. after catching up on emails that needed responding i was able to carve out a little work station. hard to believe. although i'm not sure which wall i really want my drafting table up against. i think it's bad feng shui to have my back to a door, right?

since the moving i haven't been sewing so once again i've unearthed some little items...

 oh potted meat product how you intrigue me beyond words. one of these years you will not make the move! if mc61 didn't hide you from me, i would share your ingredients with everyone.. so they could then throw up a little in their mouths too!

naturally it is fun to see things i've doodled and clipped for reference or to sew. however, it's also fun to see what other people scribble down.

for a minute i almost forget this is not my grocery list. 
but it is my beautiful house. 
and i know how i got here
