oh the sweet smell of fredom...

yeah we're getting ready for some fourth o' july festivities..our checklist was quite simple food. booze. bang!
i'm a fan of barbie-quein'... i love grillin' sausage. i also appreciate when people go out of the norm of burgers and dogs and bring fish or steak. i never do that. so today i'm changing things up. we're gonna have grilled shrimp and make a little po'boy sandwich. although it's usually dressed with lettuce, tommies, pickles, mayo blah blah MC61 made up an aoili with big tony the original creole seasoning! he was pretty psyched to see this at the g-store cuz this is what the "koon ass" has around his house. and i can't wait for tomorrow to try our version...
sheeeit, look at that grand 49er! damn, thats some good looking fireworks.. AND it came with a "free blast bag" hence the extra TNT jack pot on top. i hope our friends neighbors are feeling patriotic tomorrow! but if they seem a little uppity, we'll just shove some sangria down their throats. that always does the trick. 
yup it's true we broke out "bessie" our 5 gallon jug of awesome!!! the pre-soak is essential when making sangria. that's pretty much all i'm gonna say. this is the classic version: cheap red wine from a box, who ya callin' sugah, sugah?! brandy, you're a fine girl and desired fruits. we came close to making something different but why would we ever want to f*** with a classic?
